Android Auto / Carplay Help

Our tour route will pass through areas where your mobile device will lose its internet connection. To allow Google Maps navigation to continue operating uninterrupted, download an offline map which covers the tour route. For additional information on downloading and deleting offline maps:

• Google Maps routes included in this web app contain multiple "route shaping" destinations. After reaching each "destination", you must tap the circled "X" (lower left corner), then tap "Continue" to resume navigation to the next route shaping destination / final destination.

• All Google Maps navigation links included in this web app use your "Current location" as the route's starting point. 

To use a Google Maps navigation link in this web app in Android Auto/Carplay:

1. Make sure your smartphone is unplugged from your PCM's USB port

2. On your smartphone, start the "Tour Tools Web app

3. Find and click on a "Tour Tools" route navigation button

4. After navigation has started (automatically or by tapping "Start") in your smartphone's Google Maps app, start your Porsche and power up your PCM screen

5. Plug the PCM's USB cable into your smartphone

6. Tap the "Android Auto" / "Carplay" button when it appears on your PCM screen

7. Google Maps should automatically start with your selected route
