I am Amrithavally Thaivalappil Ramakrishnan, currently engaged in the role of a Doctoral Researcher in Management (Organisational Studies) at The University of Sheffield. My current research focuses on exploring and understanding the intricate realm of workforce reconfiguration in residential care homes in England. This research is also conducted in collaboration with the University of Eastern Finland.
My passion lies in enhancing the well-being of workers in the social care sector by finding effective workforce reconfiguration strategies that can improve working conditions in the social care sector, as well as making social care jobs more attractive to British citizens. I hold in high regard the indispensable contributions of the health and social care workforce. Their dedication is vital in ensuring a nation of healthy individuals capable of leading happy and fulfilling lives, thereby bolstering a productive economy.
