There is a grief stricken word
Which is popular in the world
In Persian we say Mahajer
But it is not only a word
Not only a name
They are some frustrated people
Incapable of anything for themselves,
For their hopes,
For their children,
For their future.
They are dejected,
Depressed and disconsolate.
They don't have any flying wings,
Just they are tired from everything,
They do not leave only their homeland,
They leave their heart,
Their beloved mom,
Their wishes.
For what?
For being in peace,
For having a future,
For continuing.
But again they are faced with affront and brutality.
They are spellbound people,
They are black,
They are Mahajer.
Art serves as a powerful catalyst for social change by making the invisible visible and giving a voice to the silenced. It transforms complex injustices into impactful imagery that resonates more deeply than words or statistics alone. A simple sketch can humanize abstract numbers, bold colors can revitalize broken spaces, and collective creativity can turn strangers into a united community. This transformative power is not confined to galleries—it is a universal tool accessible to anyone who dares to pick up a brush, a pencil, or a camera. When we create with intention, we do more than produce art; we etch our hopes, sorrows, and dreams for a better world into the consciousness of society. In doing so, we challenge apathy, nurture empathy, and plant the seeds of lasting change.
