Being a girl in Afghanistan means carrying both dreams and fears every single day. We want to learn, to work, to speak, to be free—but the world often tries to tell us we cannot. Every choice feels heavy; every small step is a challenge.
Sometimes I feel invisible, like my voice is trapped behind walls I cannot break. But I keep finding ways to be heard—through messages with friends, through digital spaces, through stories and small acts that matter. Even when the streets feel unsafe or the opportunities seem far away, I refuse to stay silent.
Life is not easy. We face limits that others cannot imagine. Sometimes we cry, sometimes we laugh, and sometimes we feel completely exhausted. Yet, within these struggles, there is hope, courage, and resilience. Girls like me continue to learn, create, and connect, holding on to dreams that feel almost impossible.
My story is not just mine. It is the story of thousands of Afghan girls who try every day to live, to learn, and to make a difference. I want the world to hear us, to understand our lives, and to see that even in small daily acts, we are moving forward, resisting, and surviving.
