FireGY focuses on developing advanced computational methods to simulate complex multi-physics problems. We specialize in finite volume, finite difference, lattice Boltzmann, finite element methods, as well as high-performance computing and machine learning. Our research is primarily focused on the development of novel approaches for solving problems in solid oxide fuel cells, lithium ion batteries, hydrogen storage, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (oxygen diffusion in human tissues), wild-land fires and fire safety.Â
