Approaches to Migration, Language, and Identity
Welcome
Welcome to AMLI 2023
The fourth conference on Approaches to Migration, Language, and Identity (AMLI 2023) takes place at University of Zurich, Switzerland, on September 7 to 8, 2023.
Registration will open soon, we are a bit behind schedule.
Given the current global crises and their resulting social and cultural changes and challenges in contemporary societies, issues of increasing migration, migration policies and discourses, and linguistic identity are at the forefront of political and academic debate. Therefore, the organizing committee of the AMLI23 conference at Zurich, welcomes submissions for paper and poster presentations from December 9th to March 31st. Scholars working on migration, language and identity in disciplines such as the humanities, education and social sciences, are invited to submit their proposals. Proposals for research papers could cover, but are not restricted to, the following topic areas:
1. Migration, integration and identity
2. Language and social inequality
3. Methods of social and linguistic research on language
4. Historical Cases of Migration and Language
We invite suggestions for papers until March 31, 2023. See the detailed call for papers.
