DR. Amit Ranjan Azad

Dr. Amit Ranjan Azad is working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani, West Bengal, India. From July 2019 to May 2022, he was associated with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, Telangana, India. He received the B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), West Bengal, India, in 2010, the M.Tech. degree and the Ph.D. degree in RF and Microwave Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, West Bengal, India, in 2012 and 2019, respectively. His research interests include the design and development of RF and microwave components for wireless communication systems. He has published many papers in reputed journals and conferences such as IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, IET Electronics Letters, International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies, Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference, International Microwave and RF Conference, etc. He is an active reviewer of many international journals and conferences. He is a recipient of URSI Regional Conference of Radio Science 2020 Young Scientist Award. He is a member of IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society.
