The Amit Project Gallery is an independent, non-commercial exhibition space founded and curated by Anton Amit. It operates as an artist-run initiative dedicated to the development and presentation of ongoing artistic projects within an intimate and thoughtfully constructed environment.
The gallery was conceived as a flexible framework for spatial experimentation — a space where painting, installation logic, and exhibition design intersect. Rather than functioning as a traditional commercial venue, it focuses on artistic continuity, long-term series, and the exploration of how works interact within a defined architectural setting.
This format allows the exhibition environment to become an extension of the artistic process itself. Each presentation is conceived as a cohesive visual narrative in which individual works enter into dialogue with one another and with the surrounding space. The emphasis lies on atmosphere, immersion, and conceptual integrity rather than market-driven display.
As a non-commercial initiative, the Amit Project Gallery serves as a platform for:
the development of long-term artistic cycles
experimental exhibition formats
spatial research within contemporary painting practice
documentation and contextual presentation of ongoing work
The space supports a process-driven approach to art-making, where the exhibition is not merely a display but an integral part of the artistic investigation.
