I was born in the small village of Bhainswar in the Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, India. My educational journey led me to obtain a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication from JNCT BHOPAL, and later, an M. Tech. degree in Opto-Electronics from SGSITS Indore in India. I have also completed my Ph.D. from the Department of Micro-Nano Optics Center, Central Scientific Instrument Organization (CSIO), Chandigarh, India affiliated with the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) under the exceptional guidance of the Dr. Samir K Mondal. The title of my thesis was 'Optical Fiber Axicon Tip Packaging and Bessel Beam Interferometry for Refractometer Development. This research delved into the development of innovative methods utilizing axicon tip packaging of optical fibers and the implementation of Bessel beam interferometry techniques for the advancement of refractometers.

Through my educational journey and research, I have gained valuable insights and expertise in the field of optics, particularly in the areas of optical fiber technology, opto-electronics, and refractometry

I joined Advanced Materials & Sensors Division (Photonics group) at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO), Chandigarh, as a Senior Project Fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Umesh Kumar Tiwari for the period from Dec. 2015 to Nov. 2016. After that, I got an opportunity to work with Dr. Samir K Mondal as Junior Research Fellow from Nov. 2016 to May 2019 and as Senior Research Fellow from May 2019 to March 2023 in CSIO.

My current research interest includes Bessel Beam, Bessel Beam interferometry Refractive index measurement, Common-Path Optical coherence Tomography, Optical Fiber sensors like Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG), Long Period Fiber Grating (LPG)& Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR). I have published 13 research papers in journals and conference proceedings (out of which 7 papers are in international journals (SCI) and 6 papers in proceedings of International/National conferences).

I am a member of SPIE, OSA, and IEEE. I served as Treasurer of SPIE CSIO Chandigarh Student Chapter (2019-2020). I was serving as President of SPIE CSIO Chandigarh Student Chapter(2020-2021).
