My name is Amirali Ekhteraei. I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, in December 1999. After completing my BSc at Sharif University of Technology, I began my MSc at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
My core strength lies in merging engineering and science. Studying physics has built my expertise in theoretical and experimental photonics and quantum optics, and my background in electrical engineering has enhanced my skills in designing, simulating, and analyzing systems in electromagnetics, microwaves, antennas, communication systems, control, and electronics.
Outside of academics, I’m passionate about exploring various facets of life. I play violin and enjoy both soccer and volleyball. In my free time, I immerse myself in charcoal drawing, hiking, and performing magic tricks. I have a deep interest in philosophy, self-awareness, and Stoic principles. Always striving for personal growth, I approach life like a virtuoso—continuously learning, mastering new skills, and pushing my limits.
