I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Warrington College of Business, University of Florida.
My primary research focuses on the design and analysis of machine learning algorithms and optimization models under a marketing and management science lens. In particular, I am interested in developing interpretable learning algorithms and decision support systems for applications in E-commerce, healthcare markets, financial markets, and operations.
I completed my PhD in Operations Research with a minor in Machine Learning at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, where I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Willem-Jan van Hoeve. I completed an MSc degree in Management Sciences at the University of Waterloo, under the supervision of Prof. Fatma Gzara. I earned my BSc degree in Industrial Engineering at the AmirKabir University of Technology.
