These are not the very latest or special firmwares as such, these are just older random firmwares which I know to be good for this recovery process. We'll use this to get the device working again and later on will online update to the latest firmware so it's all bang up to date.

The device will reboot and if all went well will eventually boot up to the main menu, it's basically in a 'working' state again now, you can browse through menu, remote control working etc. but now we want to update the firmware to whatever is the latest available online update.

You will be offered the latest 'Stable version' firmware update, if this is what you want then scroll down to 'Update now' and press OK, OK to 'Confirm' and online firmware flashing will begin and reboot at the end.

HOWEVER there is also often a BETA version firmware available which is newer than the stable version, generally I would choose BETA if available and release version is a higher number than stable version (it's called BETA but is safe to use)

For the available BETA version then while in the Upgrade menu press blue button for BETA version, select the version you want (only one choice if any usually) and then as above, Update now > OK > Confirm > OK and firmware flashing will begin and reboot at the end.

Which ever version firmware you choose then when flashing is complete and device reboots when it eventually boots back up you should now have the latest fully functioning firmware on there and be ready to go!

Hallo,i have amiko viper 4k v30,start with open atv 6.4.On image i have install plugin Nfr4xboot for multiboot(try other multiboot but not work).I download open spa image for dinoboot 4k twin(have same specs with amiko viper4kv30), install with nfr4xboot and reciver boot with openspa, now my reciver name is vivant dinobot 4k twin install other plugins and reciver work fine with open spa 7.5.003.

my friends did any of the members install spark version 1.2.83 on the amiko alien 2 and does the spark have the option to Cross over it from the system> bisic setting> factory defauit> boot to E2? also can it with enigma 2 from DuckBA-e2 plugin when select spark spark bot on spark? My amiko alien 2 is on spark 1.2.61 and there is no option to Cross over it from the system> bisic setting> factory default> boot to E2. so i can't boot from spark to enigma2 that way but i do it with the hardware on / off buttons and ok. On enigma two with DuckBA-e2 I can select spark system after that plugin configuring image ... spark detected :) writing bootargs ... Cannot access MTD device / dev / mtd7: No such file or directory Error: environment not initialized error writing bootarges >>>> ERROR !!! Press OK to close. After that I select enigma2 and the DuckBA-e2 plugin does it completely. Boot E2 / N in NAND. Configuring image ... Active partition: ''. Restarting current soft from NAND. >>>> Press OK button to rebot box. Is it expedient to update to spark 1.2.83 if these two options of easy switching from spark to enigma 2 and vice versa don't work on that version of spark either? If the update to spark1.2.83 fails, can I restore at least this spark 1.2.61? Can I back up the current spark? I am asking for your advice for these doubts of mine and I thank you in advance. 006ab0faaa
