I 'm currentyl trying to setp up some amiga systems with retroatch (PUAE core) and I'm a litle confused about launching games in bin/cue format apparently from a system called "Amiga CD". Now, I know what regular amiga is and I can run the games just fine. I also know about Amiga CD32 & Amiga CDTV, both run no problem. But then there seems to be "Amiga CD" as well.

So my first question is, what even IS "Amiga CD"? I cannot find any information on it. is it like a CD addon for Amiga computers? For example I have a version of Quake for this system. Google has this info on it and calls it a PPC game, but I don't know what that is: _(Amiga_version)

Second question: How would I have to set up PUAE to get them up and running. All I get is a black screen when trying to run these games.

Hope someone can help me out.

Thanks!

Development activity on NetBSD/amiga continues at a speed dependent on people'sspare time. Currently, NetBSD/amiga runs on any Amiga [1]that has a Motorola 68020 or better CPU with some form of MMU, and on 68060DraCos. For 68020 and 68030 systems, a FPU is recommended but not required.68LC040, 68040V and 68LC060 systems don't work correctly at the moment.

would love to hear more about amiga. was going back and forth with malfini on this one, but from what i have heard maflini is small and shaded. thinking we may like this better. anyone that can share pictures or more detail would be great. also, to anyone interested, i found a bit more info by searching for "le A Rat" island - it is the same place. also searching "#amigaisland" on instagram helped with photos.

The reason we went through all this is so we can play games, right? So how do we add them? I normally store my games in the floppies folder on my MicroSD card, under amiga_files. Games are in ADF (Amiga Disk Format). Think of them as a snapshot of an Amiga diskette. Some games require multiple disks, and there are two ways to handle them: you can load each disk under the "floppies" section of the emulator, or you can ZIP the files and load the ZIP file onto the "floppy." They will automatically be extracted when you hit the Reset button. If you ever need to add a floppy mid-game, press F4 to pause the game and return you to the emulator window. From there, you can add the new disk under "floppies" and hit the Resume button.

Amiga Music Preservation (AMP), a non profit association, is running the largest and most comprehensive database ever about amiga music and amiga musicians. All the composers of the amiga deserve to be remembered and to have their work preserved. We tried all we could on our own but although it's growing all the time, now we seriously need you to help us one way or another. 17dc91bb1f
