Applied Mathematics Group

The Applied Mathematics Group of CAECE (AMG@CAECE) is an interdisciplinary research project including researchers from different disciplines, such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Electronic Engineering. Its research activities focus in different fields of mathematical physics, such as the physics of information, the foundations of quantum mechanics, quantum information theory and quantum computing, foundations and applications of non-Kolmogorovian probability theory, and the study of quantum logic and quantum structures.

The activities of the group also involve the organization of scientific events such as seminars, colloquia, conferences and activities oriented to students, such as schools, courses and PhD and postdoctoral programs.
