In a Booth at Chasen's

The Real-Life Hollywood Love Story of Ron and Nancy Reagan

On November 15, 1949, in Hollywood, California, an up-and-coming young actress met a handsome movie star for dinner: it was the blind date that shaped history. Utilizing back screen imaging, elegant ‘50s costuming and precise attention to historical detail, In A Booth at Chasen's plays out the love story between Ron and Nancy Reagan on one set centered around the eponymous booth from the famed (and now long-lost) Hollywood landmark, Chasen’s Restaurant.

Produced by the multi-talented, Tony Award winning producer Ron Dante, with Music and Lyrics by Two-time Academy Award-winning songwriter-composer Al Kasha and international entertainment industry success Phil Swann. This musical woven together with acclaimed author and poet Samantha Bennett is hilariously entertaining and startlingly poignant.

Civic Awareness Kiosk Initiative

American Happenings and our strategic partner America's Mock Election are currently developing highly innovative and interactive civic awareness kiosks to be strategically placed in Presidential Libraries and academic institutions across our nation. These kiosks will not only engage future voters about the election process and citizenship, but it will also serve all those who wish to know more about our great nation.

The Giant of Thunder Mountain

American Happenings is not new to the entertainment business. In 1991 American Happenings Chairman John Herklotz executive produced a feature length Christian family film that continues to entertain many to this day.
