Biography

I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Previously, I was awarded the “Juan de la Cierva” fellowship and served as Visiting Professor in the same department. I obtained my PhD in Statistics and Operations Research from Universidade da Coruña in January 2021 (with International Mention and Extraordinary Award), with a dissertation entitled “Nonparametric Inference for Regression Models with Spatially Correlated Errors”. Prior to that, I completed a MSc in Statistical Techniques (with Extraordinary Award) as well as a BSc in Mathematics, both from Universidade de Santiago de Compostela.

I am Associate Editor of the Journal of Nonparametric Statistics.
