AMC3 MIDI Controllers

What is the AMC3?

The AMC3 is a 3 fader, USB MIDI controller, with a LED display, featuring user programable MIDI CC# and MIDI Channel.

The 100mm throw of the genuine Bourns faders gives the AMC3  the expressive range you need for realistic orchestral performances and MIDI programming in any DAW.

Product Specifications

The AMC3 is a class compliant, USB device that will work on Windows and MAC OS. (Not tested on Linux.)

The plug and play, USB powered, micro controller of the AMC3, converts the analog signals from the faders into MIDI over USB.

The machined ABS chassis is a zero fingerprint black finish.  It's fully sealed and completely dust proof!

A double sided PCB supports the electronic components of the AMC3, which is hand assembled here in the USA.

The 100mm Bourns faders come complete with a felt dust shield on every fader for long lasting performance.

The 3 digit LED displays the MIDI value (0-127) of the most recently moved fader, giving you instant visual feedback in your choice of blue or red.  The LED intensity (brightness) is also user configurable.

The AMC3 requires a USB A to A cable (male at both ends) - they are included with every order.

The unit body is 5 x 7, about an inch deep.

Field programable settings

The AMC3 is field programable using a simple USB, serial interface.  We use Tycommander (open source and free)  to allow you to talk to the AMC3 when you need to. (Windows and Mac compatible.)

You can control each fader independently and assign each one a CC# and a MIDI channel.

You may also set the LED intensity, to better match the lighting of your room.

The simplest and fastest way to program your AMC3 is to send it a file containing your chosen settings.  For example, I have a file that contains my Spitfire Audio settings and another for my Kontakt settings.  It's up to you how you manage your settings, but you can quickly and easily switch between your configs, which are saved in the AMC3 onboard memory.  We'll show you how - it's fast and easy!

Firmware Updates:  if updates are available,  the AMC3 firmware can be updated via  Tycommander's bootloader.
