I am having the same problem. Smart switch tries to update "some components", but gets stuck on 100% download and never completes the update. I have unistalled and reinstalled several times on several different computers. I am not trying to backup my phone, I am trying to update my Galaxy s20 ultra that has been carrier umlocked and needs to be updated through smart switch.

I've tried samsung smart switch on two different windows 10 pc's and on both the software crashes. they are both new install and the latest version all of you at samsung should be ashamed of yourselves for releasing such junk!

my pc's said the Microsoft Media Feature Pack was not applicable to my computers so I'm back where I started with this crashing software and no solution. the fact that I've tried smart switch on two seperate windows 10 pc's would indicate the fault is with the software. I don't get this crash with other programs on my pc's.

After I backed - up and press the "UPDATE" button, it goes to "Preparing for Update status but after it reaches 100% it freezes. A pop up notification comes up regarding admindelegator and when I press Allow it just freezes. All I can do is maximize and minimize the smartswitch window and that's it. Waited for 5 hours waiting for it to do something but I got nothing. Hope you can help

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm happy to inform you, that I've just connected my NX Mini and Samsung NX1100 to my Samsung A11 phone (with Android 11 on board and Samsung Smart Camera app (v. 1.4.0_180703))!!! I did everything exactly in sequence as BW53 told - and that worked! Tried to connect them earlier many times - but unsuccessfully. It's all about the sequense. Turned my NFC on, turn Location ON switched WIFI dial,chosed Mobile link > Select files from smartphone,put phone close to NFC mark on camera, check in smart camera app option Paired Camera and see if your camera has been added,then Connect to camera and enjoy e24fc04721
