if the roles were switched,
i bet you'd still be fine.
the kindness was merely meant to be mine.
the larger the picture, the smaller i became
if my colors were your favorite my size would have stayed the same.
i had the doubt, i had my faith
you had this crowd that decides where you should stay.
all the floating comets in your mind
managed to fly out and at me collide.
omniscient creatures mobbed my omnipresent self.
seen, known, familiarized
believed wrong at the end of our time.
i heard another name for a sea,
a lake awoken my demonic leaps.
brutal it may have been,
cruel it had been.
my short-lived clamor created their pandemonium,
my silence heightened their arcane surliness.
if i were the smaller person,
i never would have swelled to prove a point.
a bigger person never grows forthwith,
less than i week you had showered my wit.
i had the doubt, i had my faith
if it never was me, i'll know in any case.
the other lake stayed silent,
left itself undefended.
proving a point for the wrongdoing,
its penitence became nothing.
