I am an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram.

 
I was formerly an Assistant Professor at the School of Economics, XIM University, Bhubaneswar. I received my doctoral degree at the Centre for Development Studies, an affiliated institute at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. I was a visiting Ph.D. fellow at the UNU-WIDER, Helsinki, and the Chair of Development Economics, University of Goettingen, Germany. 

My research interests are Pro-Poor Growth, Development Economics, Public Policy, Applied Econometrics.
