Amanda Rae Heitz is an Assistant Professor in Finance at Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business. She is also an FDIC Visiting Scholar. Her research interests lie at the intersection of banking and corporate finance.

Amanda Rae Heitz earned a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Minnesota. Prior to that, she spent five years at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned an M.S. Statistics, an M.S. Applied Math, and a B.S. Finance.
