I am the co-founder and the Executive Director of Rede A Ponte, a network bridging women in academia and the public sector to support elected women. We promote evidence-based policymaking and cultivate role models to inspire more women to enter politics.
I am an Economist (PhD, PUC-Rio, 2022). My research sits at the intersection of Development Economics and Public Policy, with an agenda on sustainable agriculture and public service delivery in Brazil and Mozambique. I also work on political accountability (including the role of protests), political representation and mobilization of legislators.
My doctoral thesis was awarded the 2023 CAPES Prize for Best Thesis in Economics.
I was a visiting student at UC Berkeley, as a Fulbright Fellow (academic year 2021-2022).
