I am an experimental physicist that investigates new mechanisms to store and process information using nanotechnology and magnetic materials. In particular, I study three-dimensional magnetic nanostructures for future green computing technologies.
To fabricate 3D nanomagnets, I use advanced direct-write nanolithography techniques and thin film deposition methods, creating exotic artificial systems with unprecedented physical properties. To understand the underlying physics present in these systems, I employ magneto-optical and magnetoelectrical methods, in combination with electron/X-ray microscopy and magnetic simulations. My research involves the collaboration with a wide range of research groups around the world.
