Hi, I'm Alyssa Leng!

I will shortly commence as Macroeconomist - Data Analyst and Policy Advisor at CAPRED (Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development), based in Phnom Penh and funded by the Australian aid program.

I was previously a researcher at the Development Policy Centre at the Australian National University (ANU), where I worked mostly on economic development and policy in Papua New Guinea through the ANU-UPNG partnership, migration and climate finance. I have previously worked as a World Bank consultant on impact evaluation in the Pacific region. Prior to that, I was a Research Fellow and Economist at the Lowy Institute and worked briefly at the Australian Treasury and the Reserve Bank of Australia.

I hold an MA in International and Development Economics from the Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU, where I was awarded the Helen Hughes Prize in International and Development Economics and a professional staff scholarship.
