## 1. What Data We Collect and How We Collect It
We collect the minimal amount of data necessary to provide our core service (generating wall art and canvas prints via AI).
### A. User-Provided Data (The "Input Data")
* Text Prompts: When you use our application to generate artwork, you manually type in a text description (a "prompt"). We collect this text prompt solely at the moment you tap the "Generate" button.
* Images (Optional): If the app allows image-to-image generation and you choose to upload a reference photo, we collect that specific photo when you upload it.
### B. Automatically Collected Data
* Device & Usage Information: We may collect basic, anonymized analytics data (such as app crash logs, device model, and OS version) to improve the stability of our application. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
## 2. How We Use Your Data
The data we collect is strictly used for the following purposes:
* To Provide the Service: Your text prompts (and reference images, if applicable) are used entirely and exclusively to generate the wall art and posters you request.
* Customer Support: If you contact us via email, we use your email address and message solely to respond to your inquiry.
We do NOT:
* Use your data to identify you.
* Sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.
* Use your personal data or generated images to train our own base AI models.
## 3. Third-Party AI Services (Who Your Data is Sent To)
To generate high-quality artwork, AI Wall Art Creator transmits your Input Data (your text prompts and, if applicable, reference images) to external, industry-leading AI service providers.
Before any data is sent, the app will explicitly ask for your consent via an in-app prompt.
Who we share your Input Data with:
1. OpenAI, L.L.C. (OpenAI): We may send your text prompts to OpenAI to enhance, optimize, or translate your prompt for better image generation results.
2. Replicate, Inc. / Black Forest Labs: We send your optimized text prompts to these providers to render and generate the actual visual artwork.
What data is sent: Only the specific text string you typed (the prompt) and the reference image (if you selected one). We do not send your name, email, IP address, device ID, or any other personally identifiable information (PII) to these AI providers.
Protection of your data:
We confirm that these third-party AI providers provide the same or equal protection of your user data as stated in this policy. According to their enterprise API agreements, OpenAI and Replicate do not retain your API inputs to train their public models, and they process the data securely and ephemerally to fulfill your generation request.
## 4. In-App Consent for AI Processing
In compliance with App Store guidelines, before you generate your first artwork, our application presents a clear consent screen. This screen explicitly discloses:
* That your text prompts are being sent to OpenAI and Replicate/Black Forest Labs.
* That this is required to generate the image.
You must explicitly tap "I Agree" to allow this data transmission. If you do not agree, the app will not transmit your data and the generation feature will remain disabled.
## 5. Data Retention and Deletion
* Ephemeral Processing: Your text prompts are processed in real-time. We do not store a permanent database of your prompts on our servers.
* Local Storage: The artwork generated by the AI is returned to your device and saved locally on your phone. We do not keep copies of your generated artwork on our servers.
* Analytics: Anonymous crash logs and usage analytics are retained only as long as necessary to fix bugs and improve performance.
## 6. Children's Privacy
Our Application does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you are under 13, please do not attempt to send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
