Stakeholder Engagement

Stakeholder Engagement Group

Alvord CTE has compiled a Stakeholder Engagement Group that will work with the CTE department to identify needs (weaknesses to be assuaged, strengths to be sustained and scaled) that lead to strategies that could affect CTE practices, curriculum, and budgeting.

Who is considered a Stakeholder?

Stakeholders are members of the educational and business community that have input in the Career Technical Education programs offered at Alvord Unified School District. Stakeholders include CTE teachers, career guidance and academic counselors, principals and other school leaders, administrators, and specialized support personnel and paraprofessionals, CTE representatives at the postsecondary level, parents and students, representatives of special populations, and industry partners from each pathway.

Stakeholders will be asked to meet at least once a year to review different aspects of the CTE program at Alvord. This will include curriculum, student outcomes, and pathway effectiveness.
