This Privacy Policy is specifically designed to comply with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, including Guideline 5.1.1 (Data Collection and Storage) and 5.1.2 (Data Use and Sharing).
## 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
### A. Data You Provide Directly
We collect the text information you voluntarily input into the App when requesting the generation of a visa cover letter, travel permit, or immigration document. This includes:
- **Text Prompts:** Details regarding your travel purpose, destination country, background, and specific requests for the document generation.
- **Support Inquiries:** If you contact us for support, we collect your email address and the content of your message.
### B. Automatically Collected Data
When you use the App, we may collect non-personally identifiable technical data to ensure the App functions properly, including:
- Device type, operating system version, and App version.
- Crash reports and diagnostic data (via standard platform tools such as Apple's App Store telemetry).
## 2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use the collected data strictly for the following purposes:
- **Core Functionality:** To process your input text and generate the requested visa/immigration letters.
- **Customer Support:** To respond to your emails and resolve technical issues.
- **Service Improvement:** To analyze crash reports and fix bugs.
## 3. DATA SHARING WITH THIRD-PARTY AI SERVICES (IMPORTANT)
To provide our core functionality, the App utilizes a third-party Artificial Intelligence service. **We do not process the AI generation locally on your device.**
### Who We Share Data With
Your text prompts are securely transmitted to **OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI")** via their official API.
### What Data Is Shared
Only the text prompt you explicitly type into the generation fields is sent to OpenAI. We **do not** automatically attach your name, location, IP address, device ID, or any other background identifiers to the AI request.
### Third-Party Data Protection
We only share your data with OpenAI after obtaining your explicit consent via an in-app prompt. We have confirmed that OpenAI provides an equal or greater level of data protection as mandated by this Privacy Policy. Specifically:
- **No Model Training:** OpenAI does not use data submitted via their API to train or improve their artificial intelligence models.
- **Retention:** OpenAI retains API data for a maximum of 30 days solely for abuse monitoring purposes before permanently deleting it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any other third parties.
## 4. USER CONSENT AND CONTROL
Before any data is transmitted to our third-party AI provider, the App will explicitly display a consent screen. This screen informs you that your text prompt will be sent to OpenAI. You must tap "I Agree" to proceed. If you do not consent, your data will not be transmitted, and the AI generation feature will not be used.
## 5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
- **Local Storage:** The letters generated by the App are saved locally on your device using local storage. If you delete the App, these locally saved documents are permanently erased.
- **Third-Party Storage:** As noted above, OpenAI retains API requests for a maximum of 30 days for compliance and abuse monitoring, after which they are deleted.
- **Your Rights:** You have the right to request the deletion of any data you have sent to us. Since the App operates without user accounts and stores documents locally, you maintain full control over your data directly on your device.
## 6. SECURITY
We value your trust in providing us with your data and use commercially acceptable means to protect it. All transmissions to OpenAI are secured using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
## 7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
