If you're reading this and feeling lousy, when I was stuck in it, I wish someone had told me sooner that "it wasn't your fault".
Stuff happens. Our minds and bodies respond. Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just plain lousy is a part of being human—but it’s not meant to last forever. There is always an opportunity to engage in self-care and begin moving forward.
Life is messy. It brings challenges, suffering, and moments of deep struggle, but it also offers joy, growth, connection, and countless other wonderful and boring experiences. I know this firsthand—I've been through trauma, and depression that felt pretty awful, as well as countless moments that were joyful and amazing. And many times, I found myself somewhere in between. I’ve spent a lifetime learning and improving how to hang in the in between, in a flow that feels authentic and healing.
I see therapy as a powerful self-care tool—a way to address what’s causing stuckness and suffering, free up energy, and to discover or strengthen the resources that support that flow and well-being.
My intention for you is for safe passage through what ever is happening.
