What you should bring beyond your fantastic self is everything one should have for camping: a tent, sleeping equipment, environment appropriate clothing, socks with waterproof shoes, and adequate food. Ensure you have what you need to take care of your flesh suit, as everyone is in the same boat as you.
In all seriousness, though, your character should have costuming and props that fit into this world. As you are discovering this world through roleplay and story, the first game will have you coming from our world into this Other World and as such your base clothing will be relatively mundane in nature (though your character may certainly be exceptionally odd). Each game you attend, clothing and attire should degrade and adapt to the newly necessary trying actions and life your PC is finding themselves in. This grants new players time to acclimate themselves to the world, both in and out-of game, without seeming out of place.
Items founded in emotional connection and wide spread awareness - such as corporate logos, band symbols, or art - will fade rapidly without the sustaining life-force of attention and belief in their value akin to religion that only constant consideration and maintenance could supply. As such, unless they play a part in your character's personality they should be removed in some way from props and clothing by your second game.
An exception to this is starting armour and melee weapons. Unlike other pieces of gear, you won't be walking into game with these and as such they will be touched by the Other World already. You'll find out why later. This allows for some intense applications of your skill in crafts immediately if you were so inclined, but personal affects and sigils should be applied over time.
