Welcome to AI Room Design: Interior ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy strictly adheres to the Apple App Store Guidelines (including 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i)) to explain exactly what data we collect, how it is collected, how it is used, and with whom it is shared—particularly regarding third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) services.
By using our application, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in this policy.
We collect the absolute minimum data required to provide our interior design generation service:
User-Provided Images: Photos of your rooms that you explicitly choose to upload from your device's photo library or camera.
Text Prompts: Any text descriptions, instructions, or details you type into the prompt box to guide the design.
What we DO NOT collect: We do not collect your name, email address, physical location, device identifiers, or any other personally identifiable information (PII). We do not secretly scan your photo library.
Data is collected strictly through direct user interaction.
An image is collected only when you tap the "Upload" button and manually select a specific photo.
Text prompts are collected only when you type them into the text input fields and tap the "Generate" button.
The data collected (your room photo and text prompt) is used for one specific purpose only:
To analyze the spatial structure of your room and generate a new, hyper-realistic interior design image based on the style you selected.
We do not use your data for advertising, tracking, profiling, or training our own independent machine learning models.
To perform the complex AI generation, our app must transmit your selected photo and text prompt to third-party AI service providers.
Before any data is transmitted, the app will display a Consent Modal clearly identifying the third parties receiving your data. You must explicitly tap "I Agree" before we process your request.
Who the data is sent to:
OpenAI, L.L.C.: We send your text prompts and selected style parameters to OpenAI's API to enhance and structure the prompt for the image generator.
Replicate, Inc.: We send your original uploaded room photo and the enhanced text prompt to Replicate's API (specifically stable-diffusion/SDXL models) to render and return the final interior design image.
Equal Protection Guarantee: We confirm that both OpenAI and Replicate provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy. Both services process the data securely via API requests. According to their respective enterprise API policies, your data is processed ephemerally to fulfill the request and is not used to train their public foundation models.
In-Transit: Data sent to OpenAI and Replicate is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS.
On-Device Storage: The final generated images and the history of your designs are saved locally on your device's storage. We do not maintain a cloud database of your generated images.
No Long-Term Server Storage: We do not retain copies of your uploaded original photos or text prompts on our servers after the generation session is complete.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
Because we do not store your data on our servers (all history is kept locally on your device), you have full control over your data. You can delete your generated designs directly within the app or by deleting the application from your device.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
