If you want active noise cancellation, a vibrant LCD screen for music control, and over 30 hours of total playback time, choose Alpha Digital Earbuds; if you need a unique skull aesthetic with a built-in flashlight in the case and a more compact form factor, choose VIVIDUS M20. This is not a close call between two identical budget options; these two products serve fundamentally different user needs, and the decision comes down to whether you prioritize advanced audio features and battery longevity or distinct styling and practical utility like an emergency light.
• Alpha Digital Earbuds: The biggest strength is its comprehensive feature set including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency Mode, and a large 1.47-inch color touch screen on the buds themselves, but it trades off bulkier earbuds due to the extra electronics. This pick is for the tech-savvy commuter or runner who wants full control over their audio environment.
• VIVIDUS M20: The standout feature is the bold skull design with a mirror finish and a charging case that doubles as a flashlight, yet it relies only on passive noise isolation rather than active cancellation. This pick is for the style-conscious user or gamer who wants a conversation starter and extra visibility without the weight of complex noise-canceling hardware.
The Alpha Digital V8 earbuds are engineered for people who treat their headphones as a command center. The inclusion of a 1.47-inch full-color LCD touch screen directly on the earbud is a significant departure from standard TWS designs. Most competitors hide controls on a stem or rely solely on tap gestures, but this model allows you to see your song title, adjust volume sliders, switch wallpapers, and even change languages right on the surface of the earpiece. For someone who listens to podcasts while jogging, having a visual interface means you don't have to guess which track is playing or fumble blindly to skip a segment.
Battery life is another area where this product clearly targets the heavy listener. With a single charge providing over six hours of playtime and a total capacity reaching 32 hours when paired with the charging case, it eliminates the anxiety of running out of power mid-workout or during a long commute. The case itself supports fast charging via USB-C, taking just 1.5 hours to fully replenish. The IP4 waterproof rating ensures that sweat and splashes during a gym session or an outdoor run won't damage the internal components. Furthermore, the ability to use just one earbud while keeping the other in the case is a smart feature for those who need to stay aware of their surroundings while driving or working in an office.

However, the trade-off lies in the physical design. To accommodate the dual microphones required for the Active Noise Cancellation system and the transparency mode, the earbuds are slightly larger than minimalist alternatives. They weigh approximately 4.6 grams each, which is noticeable but designed to be ergonomic so they do not protrude excessively from the ear canal. If you have very small ear canals or prefer ultra-lightweight "feather" earbuds that disappear entirely, the substantial build of the Alpha Digital might feel too bulky after several hours of wear. Additionally, the reliance on Bluetooth 5.3 means it connects seamlessly to modern devices, but older phones may require a bit more patience pairing.
This product is ideal for the dedicated jogger who needs Active Noise Cancellation to block out traffic noise and wind, or the traveler who wants to isolate cabin pressure and chatter. It is also perfect for anyone who finds tap controls frustrating and prefers the precision of a touchscreen interface. You should skip this option if you are looking for a purely fashion-forward accessory or if you need the absolute smallest possible profile in your pocket, as the charging case is larger to house the 450mAh battery.
The VIVIDUS M20 earbuds take a different approach, focusing on visual impact and practical utility rather than deep technical immersion. The defining characteristic here is the design language. The skull-themed earbuds with a sleek mirror surface finish are undeniably eye-catching. In a sea of plain black or white earbuds, these stand out immediately. For users who view their tech accessories as part of their personal style statement, this model offers a level of customization and flashiness that the Alpha Digital simply does not attempt. The mirror finish adds a premium feel, though it will likely show fingerprints and scratches more easily than matte plastics.
The most surprising and useful feature of the VIVIDUS M20 is the integrated LED flashlight within the charging case. While many cases offer battery percentage displays, few provide actual illumination. This makes the case a genuinely useful tool for finding keys in a dark car, navigating a dimly lit parking garage, or serving as a makeshift emergency light during a power outage. The case is also notably large, measuring 3.5 inches in length, which suggests it houses a robust battery pack capable of multiple recharges. The LED display on the front of the case gives you a precise percentage readout, ensuring you never leave home without knowing exactly how much juice is left in the box.
In terms of audio performance, the M20 utilizes 13.4mm dynamic drivers with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz and a sensitivity of 98dB. These specs indicate a powerful sound output with deep bass, suitable for genres like hip-hop or electronic music. However, it lacks Active Noise Cancellation. Instead, it relies on passive noise isolation provided by the in-ear fit. This means it will block some ambient noise through physical seal, but it cannot actively generate anti-noise to cancel out loud environments like airplanes or busy streets. The latency is listed at 40 milliseconds, which is excellent for gaming and video watching, ensuring your audio stays synchronized with the action on screen.
This product fits the user who prioritizes aesthetics and the "cool factor" over high-end audio engineering. It is also a great choice for gamers who need low latency and a secure fit for extended sessions. The lightweight nature of the unit, with a carrying case weighing only 2.5 ounces, makes it easy to carry in a small pocket or bag. However, if you are a serious athlete who needs to hear traffic announcements or requires silence in a noisy gym, the lack of ANC and the open-back design philosophy might leave you feeling disconnected from your environment. You should skip this if you demand industry-leading noise cancellation or if you prefer a subtle, understated look.

After weighing the specifications and real-world applications of both devices, I would choose the Alpha Digital Earbuds. The presence of Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode transforms these from simple music players into a complete audio management system. For someone using them for jogging, the ability to switch to Transparency Mode instantly is a critical safety feature that the VIVIDUS M20 cannot match. While the VIVIDUS M20 has a cool flashlight and striking design, those are novelty features that don't enhance the core listening experience. The Alpha Digital's superior battery life and the intuitive LCD screen make it the more functional and reliable choice for daily use. I recommend the Alpha Digital Earbuds for anyone who values performance and versatility over pure aesthetics.
