We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying strictly with Apple's App Store Guidelines, specifically Guidelines 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i) regarding Data Collection and Data Use.

We collect the absolute minimum amount of data required to provide the core functionality of the App.
* **Text Prompts (User Content):** When you use the App to generate a neon sign, we collect the exact text prompt you manually type into the text fields (e.g., the neon text, room description, and style selections).
* **We DO NOT collect:** Your name, email address, IP address, device identifiers, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information (PII). The App functions entirely without requiring user registration or login.
## 2. How We Collect Data
* **Direct Input:** The text prompts are collected exclusively through your direct manual input into the App's user interface. We do not scrape, harvest, or passively collect data in the background.
## 3. How We Use the Data
* **Image Generation:** The sole purpose of collecting your text prompts is to process them and generate a visual representation of a neon sign based on your description.
* We do not use your data for targeted advertising, marketing, profiling, or selling to data brokers.
## 4. Sharing Data with Third-Party AI Services
To generate the high-quality neon sign images, the App transmits your text prompts to specialized third-party artificial intelligence services.
**Who the Data is Sent To:**
* **OpenAI, LLC:** Your prompt is sent to OpenAI's API to enhance and format the text for optimal image generation.
* **Replicate, Inc. (and Black Forest Labs):** The enhanced prompt is then sent to Replicate's API (utilizing Black Forest Labs' models) to render the final photorealistic image.
**Protections and Safeguards:**
We have verified that these third-party AI services provide the same or equal protection for your data as outlined in this Privacy Policy:
* Data sent to OpenAI and Replicate via their APIs is used exclusively to return the requested output.
* Both OpenAI and Replicate have strict enterprise privacy agreements ensuring that data submitted via their APIs is **not** used to train their public foundation models.
* No personal identifiers (such as IP addresses or device IDs) are sent alongside your text prompt. The requests are entirely anonymous.
## 5. User Permission Before Sharing
In strict compliance with Apple's Guidelines, the App will explicitly ask for your consent **before** any data is ever sent to these third-party AI services.
* Upon your first attempt to generate an image, an "AI Data Notice" modal will appear.
* This modal clearly identifies who the data will be sent to (OpenAI and Replicate) and what data will be sent (your text prompt).
* You must tap "I Agree & Continue" to grant permission. If you decline, no data will be transmitted, and the generation process will be canceled.
## 6. Photo Library Access
If you choose to save an AI-generated neon sign image to your device, the App will request "Add Only" access to your Photo Library.
* The App only writes the new image to your gallery.
* The App **does not** read, scan, upload, view, or modify any of your existing photos.
## 7. Data Retention
We do not store your text prompts on our servers. The transmission to OpenAI and Replicate is ephemeral, and the generated images are downloaded directly to your device's local storage. Any gallery history you see in the App is stored locally on your device using `AsyncStorage`. If you delete the App, this local history is permanently erased.
## 8. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. Given the anonymous nature of the service, we do not request age verification. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personal information, they should contact us immediately.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.
