Welcome to AI Menu Food Photo Maker ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are strongly committed to keeping any information we obtain from you or about you secure and transparent. This Privacy Policy describes what data our application ("App") collects, how it collects that data, all uses of that data, and how it is shared, particularly regarding third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) services.
We have designed this Privacy Policy to comply strictly with data privacy laws and Apple's App Store Guidelines regarding Data Collection and Data Use.
Text Prompts for AI Generation: The only user-generated data the App collects is the text descriptions (e.g., "A fresh avocado salmon salad") and the visual style selections you type into the App's text input fields.
Anonymous Usage & Device Data: We may collect non-identifiable information about the device you use (such as OS version, device model) and anonymous usage logs (e.g., error reporting) to ensure the App functions correctly.
We DO NOT Collect Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, exact location data, or biometrics. We do not require you to create an account.
In-App Text Fields: The text prompts are collected exclusively when you manually type them into the text boxes within the App and press the "Generate" button.
System APIs: Device data (for crash reporting) is collected through standard Apple iOS System APIs.
The text prompts you provide are used for one single purpose:
To Generate Food Images: We process your text prompts exclusively to instruct the AI models to generate the food and menu images you requested. The prompts are not used for targeted advertising, marketing, or tracking.
To provide the core functionality of generating high-quality food photography from text, the App must send your text prompts to third-party AI service providers.
Before any data is transmitted, the App will display an explicit disclosure prompt asking for your permission to share this data.
When you grant permission and tap "Generate," your text prompts are transmitted to the following specific third parties:
OpenAI, L.L.C.: Your text prompt is first sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI processes the prompt to enhance and translate your simple idea into a highly detailed photographic description.
Replicate, Inc. & Black Forest Labs: The enhanced text prompt is then transmitted to Replicate's API (which utilizes Black Forest Labs' models) to physically render the visual image.
We do not transmit any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) or device identifiers alongside your text prompts to these third-party AI services.
We confirm that the third-party AI services we share data with (OpenAI and Replicate) provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy and as required by Apple's App Store Guidelines.
Both OpenAI and Replicate employ industry-standard encryption (such as TLS) during data transmission.
We utilize API endpoints for these services that do not use user-submitted prompts to train their public AI models.
Saving Images: If you choose to export an image generated by the AI, the App requires permission to save the image to your device's native Photo Library.
Privacy Assurance: The App only adds images to your library. It does not read, scan, upload, or modify any of your existing photos.
All payments, subscriptions, and credit purchases are processed entirely and securely through the Apple App Store using standard Apple In-App Purchase APIs. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information or billing details on our servers.
We implement reasonable security measures (such as HTTPS/TLS encryption) to protect the transmission of your prompts.
We do not store your generated images or text prompts on our remote servers. The images you generate are stored locally on your device.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
