All Images in ZIP ("the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that lets you auto-scroll a web page, collect the images displayed on it, and download those images as a ZIP file or as individual files. This policy explains exactly what the extension does and does not do with your data.
Summary: The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. It has no servers, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything it does happens locally inside your own browser, only when you click a button.
We do not collect any personal data. The extension does not gather your name, email address, browsing history, location, IP address, or any personally identifiable information, and it does not send any data to the developer or to any third party.
The only data the extension saves are your preferences — scroll speed, pause time, image format, image quality, and minimum-size filter. These are stored locally on your own computer using Chrome's storage.local API so your settings persist between sessions. This information never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
When you click Scan, Start Scroll, or a download button, the extension reads the image addresses present on the page you are currently viewing and fetches those image files so they can be shown as thumbnails, converted, and packaged for download. This processing happens entirely within your browser. Image data is requested directly from the websites that already host those images (the same sources your browser loads when displaying the page) and is written only to your own device's Downloads folder. No images, image URLs, or page content are sent to the developer or any third party.
scripting — to scroll the active page and read which images it contains, only after you click.
downloads — to save the resulting ZIP or image files to your device.
storage — to remember your settings locally.
host access to websites (<all_urls>) — to fetch the full-resolution image bytes from the content-delivery domains that host them, so they can be converted and zipped. The extension only acts on your current tab and only when you trigger it.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any user data with anyone, because we do not collect any. The extension uses no advertising networks and no third-party data brokers.
The use of information received by All Images in ZIP will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to download and use any images you save with this extension. Please respect copyright and the terms of service of the websites you visit.
