WINDOW/ DOOR SHOP DRAWING REVIEW

Add this to interior door rough openings when assuming 3/4” finish floor buildups and 3/4” jambs:
Add 2” for height and width for regular interior doors.

Add x2+2” for width and +4” for height on pocket doors
Add this to exterior door rough openings, 2-1/2” for height and width on exteriors if they have 1” jamb stock
When doors and windows are adjacent to each other, add an additional 1/2" to the door rough opening so that the door and window will align top and bottom. This is true for Anderson and Kolbe. Verify if using a different manufacturer.
