All 3 waste streams should be co-located if they are directly accessed by residents and/or commercial tenants
24" of space between every dumpster, for maneuverability
48" of space between dumpsters that face each other (when lids open toward each other), to allow residents and staff to open lids and deposit materials
6" of space between carts
Include space for one (1) 32-gal compost container in on-floor solid waste rooms
Minimum 6' wide access door/opening to the building’s primary solid waste room or enclosure with dumpsters, for maneuverability and prevention of damage
Minimum 6' wide paths and corridors through which dumpsters ae transported, for maneuverability and prevention of damage
Distance between container storage location and truck must be less than 50' for driver collection; ideally less than 25' (distance between 25'-50' will incur an additional fee)

Staging must be minimum 5' from centerline of new street trees, and outside the dripline of existing street trees
