Revit Sending Models to Consultants

Packaging 3D Revit files to send to consultants for coordination 

eTransmit must be initiated from a locally saved file and is not compatible with Autodesk Docs.

1. “Save As” “Project” the Revit file from ACC to desktop or archive folder on local machine.

2. Close out of all open Revit models but keep the program open.

3. Navigate to Add-Ins tab and hit “Transmit a model”. Use eTransmit settings below. For selected view types, select the view types you would like to include in your model (plans, sections, elevations, 3D views)

4. After transmitting, open the model and delete any views that are not EXPORT views.

5. Navigate to the “Manage” tab and “Purge Unused”

6. Save model to an A8 Shared folder with project naming conventions
