Embedded Files
- Open your Revit file using the instructions found here
- Click the "R" in the top left hand corner of your screen
- R > Export > CAD Formats > DWG
- Set dialog boxes to the following and select the "3D View : {3D}" ------>
- Open SketchUp 2017
- File > Import > Select your file
- The model will come in, use the layers to organize and delete thing as necessary
- This is not a flawless conversion, topo and grouping may be a little weird
- I think this is most useful for material studies and adding complex detail to interior spaces for rendering
