Excel to CAD & Revit

To link your Excel file directly to to AutoCAD or Revit follow the steps below:

1. Select the cells in Excel that you want to link

2. Simply copy the cells

3. Once in AutoCAD find "Paste" in the Clipboard tab and select special paste ----->

4. Select Paste Link in the dialog box

5. Select AutoCAD Entities from the options

6. Save File and Open Revit

7. Under the View Tab open a new drafting view

8. Under the Insert Tab select Link CAD

9. Find the AutoCAD file created above

10. Add a unique name to the view and add to sheet.
