WA State DOR Excise Taxes

This is the $$ number we need to add for our monthly taxes:

1. Run a profit & loss report in QuickBooks online
2. Find the "Services" amount under Income
3. Add back any "Unapplied cash" of
4. Subtract the "Discounts given"
5. Add the "Mark up" amount
6. Subtract the "Client costs reimbursable (no travel) amount found under Expenses.
7. This is the number you enter for taxes

You can file your excise taxes early (before the 25th of the following month, but it is best not to have the funds transferred until the due date.
