KD College Prep is not just another corporate test prep company. Over the last 31 years, we have served more than 80,000+ students in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and across the U.S. We care deeply about our community and the families we serve.

Our personalized test prep courses are designed to help you build an in-depth knowledge of the material found on college admissions tests. All test prep activities are led by teachers who have demonstrated a strong knowledge of the material found on the tests along with the ability to convey it to students.

When you sign up for our Complete Program, we create a personalized test prep plan designed to help you reach your test score goals. This will consist of diagnostic tests, lessons, homework assignments, practice workshops, practice tests, test reviews, and more. Your test prep plan can be adjusted at any time to meet your specific needs.

Our private, one-on-one tutoring option is ideal for students who prefer to prepare for tests by working one-on-one with an instructor. This tutoring solution allows students to focus on specific problem areas versus the entire test prep package. Students can use this option to cover a wide range of topics and can choose to prep in person or virtually. Meeting times can be tailored to fit your schedule. Your student can utilize private tutoring as a stand-alone service or in addition to our test prep programs.

Allen College did not report their average GPA for incoming students, and we could not calculate an expected average GPA. We recommend that you do a quick Google search to see if they've released new information.

SAT and ACT RequirementsEach school has different requirements for standardized testing. Only a few schools require the SAT or ACT, but many consider your scores if you choose to submit them.

Allen College hasn't explicitly named a policy on SAT/ACT requirements, and it hasn't published average SAT or ACT scores. Therefore, either this school doesn't require tests, or test scores are optional.

SAT/ACT Writing Section RequirementsCurrently, only the ACT has an optional essay section that all students can take. The SAT used to also have an optional Essay section, but since June 2021, this has been discontinued unless you are taking the test as part of school-day testing in a few states. Because of this, no school requires the SAT Essay or ACT Writing section, but some schools do recommend certain students submit their results if they have them.

Your placement scores are used to place you in the level of math, writing or reading that is right for your skill level. If your placement scores do not place you into the course that is required for your degree or certificate, you will need to begin at the level into which you tested and work your way through each course to the required one. These courses are called developmental courses.

You may take the ACT, the ACCUPLACER or the SAT to determine your placement scores. (ACT Compass scores may be submitted as Allen no longer administers this test.) Once your scores have been determined, you can view the placement chart for math, writing, and reading courses. Your Advisor can help you understand which classes you will be enrolled into based on how you scored.

Your Advisor will use your ACCUPLACER test results along with information about your academic background, goals and interests to help you take courses that match your skill level and give you the best opportunities for success.

The ACT consists of four multiple-choice tests: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. The ACT Plus Writing includes a Writing Test. Allen's Iola Campus is a testing site for the national testing dates of the ACT.

All non-Allen students must make their own arrangements with their employer, school and/or instructor to have their exam or exam instructions sent to the following email at admissions@allencc.edu prior to their scheduled testing appointment.

You're busy with your career and personal life. Efficient prep is the solution. CFA Institute says that you need to study 300 hours if you want to pass your CFA exam. However, you need about 550 hours if you're only using textbooks.

Start studying early, stick to the study strategy, and use your TestBank as often as possible.

The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a program designed to determine if a student is ready for college-level course work in the general areas of reading, writing and mathematics. This program will also help determine what type of course or intervention will best meet the student's needs and to assist in becoming better prepared for college-level course work. Note: Collin College can only provide TSI testing for Collin College students.

The Pre-Assessment Activity is designed to help you understand the importance of the TSI Assessment. It includes sample test questions and feedback. Information on campus and community resources to assist you in moving forward is also available.

In-Person testing is available at each of our campus testing centers. The cost to take the TSI on campus is $29. Click a campus below to schedule your exam and pay for your assessment. On average, the complete TSI can take 4-5 hours to complete. Be sure you plan accordingly when scheduling your exam.

Online testing is offered through a virtual testing platform called Examity. Only one 15 minute breaks is allowed when using the virtual testing option and the complete test can take 5 or more hours. If you cannot meet these requirements, please plan to take your assessments at one of our campus testing centers listed in Step 3 - Option 1. e24fc04721
