Data of our mobile users remain anonymous to us and to the third party ad agencies. However, the ad agencies’ SDK code will collect data to tailor ads to you, such as the third-party apps you installed on your device, your Android advertising identifier, your IP Address, your device's operating system details and MAC address, and other statistical and technical information.

Ask AI
The app includes an optional Ask AI feature. If you use it, we send the following to Google Gemini (through Firebase AI Logic) so it can generate an answer:
• An image of the PDF page you currently have open
• The question you type, and follow-up messages in that chat
We ask for your permission in the app before this happens. If you choose Not now, nothing is sent.
We do not store your questions or page images on our own servers. They are sent to Google only to generate the answer you asked for.
We use Google’s paid Gemini API. Google does not use these prompts, page images, or responses to train or improve its models. Google may keep this content for a short time to detect abuse and keep the service safe.
Answers from Ask AI are generated by AI and can be wrong. They are not official UPSC answers.

Log Data
