About Me

Hello there! My name is Nisa and I am your data buddy. And this is where I share my thoughts, insights and some projects that I have worked on. 

I came from biomedical background, but found solace in data. I love how chaotic data can be, yet with the right approach, the same chaotic data could provide amazing insight, especially to the business. 

My journey in data began when I started to understand that you need to be backed by data in every business decision you made.

 I am also a certified Google Data Analytics currently working in Branding, Marketing and Creative Content. I know, right? 

When I first started my data journey, I went straight into Python programming and machine learning. It's not wrong, but definitely a dumb way to die. Then, to make it more complicated, I started joining paper reading club with ASEAN Women in AI community. 

As things got harder, I realized maybe I need to go back to basic and do all the needed groundwork. I signed up for another data analytic course and that's when my journey with Airasia began. 

I was onboard on the certification program by AirAsia Academy in collaboration with Google Cloud; fully sponsored by Yayasan Peneraju. 

Today, I can work proficiently using advanced Excel and Google Spreadsheet (BIG YAY!), SQL, Python and R for data analytics as well as other business intelligence tools such as Tableau.

What I am trying to say is, its okay to not be enough. You don't have to get it all right the first time. Who does that anyway?
