Digital Esophageal Stethoscope device is to measure heart sound or respiratory sound during operation by inserting a catheter into the esophagus close to the heart. Using this device, the anesthetist can monitor heart and lungs yet still have hands and eyes free for other signs. The device also allows all anesthesia personnel in the room to monitor the patient’s parameters simultaneously.

This project was my university thesis in B.Sc. Having graduated, I have continued my research on it. Due to its operationality, it turned into a research project, article, patent and finally, it has reached the mass production stage.

During this project, I acted as a technical manager and electronics designer. This device passed clinical tests.
