The tourniquet system is a medical device which applies circumferential pressures to a limb in order to temporarily occlude venous and arterial circulation to that extremity temporarily. This system play an important part in many procedures that require a bloodless field, such as trama, sports medicine, plastic surgeries and Bier block as well.
This project has reached mass production stage. Also, it was a research project in shiraz university of medical sciences.
During this project, I acted as a technical manager and electronics designer. This device passed several tests such as EMC compliance, electrical safety and clinical tests.
