PRIVACY POLICY
ALIGN (formerly H TECH Assistant) is a workforce app that helps employees record attendance, submit and track requests, and view their employment information. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
• Precise location — read only at the moment you tap Check in or Check out, to verify your attendance at your branch.
• Name, email address and phone number — to identify your account.
• Photos — only images you choose yourself, for example to update your profile picture.
• User ID — to link your requests and records to your account.
• Device ID — used only to deliver push notifications.
2. Location
ALIGN does not track your location in the background or continuously. The app asks for "While Using the App" permission only, and you can decline it at any time. If you decline, attendance check-in that requires location will not be available.
3. Face ID / Touch ID
Biometric login is handled entirely by your device's operating system. ALIGN never receives or stores your fingerprint or face data — it only receives a success or failure result.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used only to provide the app's features: attendance, requests (leaves, permissions, loans), salary information and notifications.
• No advertising and no ad networks.
• No third-party behavioral analytics.
• We do not sell your data or use it to track you across other apps or websites.
5. Data Storage
Your data is stored on your employer's server. Your employer is the data controller and is responsible for how your employment data is managed. Firebase Cloud Messaging is used only to deliver push notifications.
6. Your Rights
You can request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your data by contacting your employer's HR department or emailing us at htech.eg@gmail.com. You can revoke location, camera, photos and notification permissions at any time from your device settings.
7. Children
ALIGN is not intended for anyone under the age of 16.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you inside the app and update the "Last updated" date above.
