This workshop lays the groundwork for a safe and sustainable yoga practice by focusing on foundational alignment principles. Through breath awareness, body mechanics, and engagement techniques, we will refine the structure of key postures. Emphasis will be placed on Sun Salutation A & B, breaking down each movement to ensure stability, strength, and flow. Perfect for beginners and experienced practitioners looking to reinforce their foundation.
In this session, we explore standing and seated postures, using props as tools for deeper awareness and support. We will refine balance, posture, and muscle engagement, ensuring alignment is both effective and accessible. Through mindful adjustments and prop integration, students will build confidence and stability in poses such as Warrior variations, Trikonasana, and forward folds.
This final workshop invites practitioners to deepen their practice through intelligent exploration, using props like straps, the wall, and blocks to refine and expand into variations of familiar poses. We will introduce inversions and playful transitions, ensuring alignment and control remain at the center of movement. Students will leave with a greater sense of confidence, balance, and a deeper connection to their practice.
