I have a couple of projects I'm doing at the moment, fandom related, solo and gamedev. I can't go into much detail for some of them either because I have this curse called 'if I talk / show too much I'll lose motivation', or it's just something I can't show yet. Also, it wouldn't be too fun if you just saw everything before I finished no? But regardless, while I've shown just been showing friends the things I've been working on, I love to talk, and I thought no one reads these blog posts enough for the curse to activate anyways, so, here we go.
Solo projects
#Aktober2025
I'm doing it again this year yay! A chill Arknights-themed art-tober. Again, since this is the 'reveal things people won't see' space, the prompts are going to be factions.
I'm still working on the graphic and I'm struggling a bit, but I'm realising that I shouldn't worry too much because how many people are gonna join me. Like maybe one person?
This year I'll also attach some wheels for randomisation purposes, and maybe do some niche clears. My personal goal is also to be loose and quick, to not be boggled down by details. In a perfect world, I don't want to spend more than 2 hours on a piece.
Life is Like a Slice of Pie
I won't specify it's contents, but I can tell you it's essentially a collection of yonkomas. I've been pretty locked in about my deadlines for this, as I'm writing this I have one more day for the roughs... I have three left. Anyways, I'm having a lot of fun doing it, yonkomas are so fun.
My main source of reference and inspiration in terms of the yonkoma itself has been Arknights' 123 Rhodes Island, but I recently realised I also have the Sumikko Gurashi yonkoma books. I've been planning two strips per page but honestly I could also do one per page. Well, it'll be easy to move around once I draw it. I just want to think ahead about printing - nothing fancy literally just printer paper

What is he doing
She is not ok
I'm also hoping to be so locked in that I manage to finish early, and then add bonus doodles like I originally intended. Maybe I'll even do a DLC bonus for scrapped ideas, ideas and thoughts or something? If things go well. Honestly, a companion zine of wips and thoughts is an idea I'm really into. It doesn't take too much work and would just mostly be my yapping. Also it's cute to me if it's like a little series. Maybe it'll be called The (Microwaveable) Leftovers or something.
Wanderlust
A more experimental thing I have in mind for my OC, Adilenna. Experimental in the sense that I haven't done it before. It'll be small a small travel themed zine. I'll be asking for photos from friends and I might even feature guest art if anyone is up for it...
The name is still a WIP for reasons. Though it might stick at this point. It's subtitle might be something like 'Do-whatever, Go-wherever' in reference to what Adilenna refers to herself as ('freelance Do-whatever').
Compilation projects
2shark2furious
Originally, I had plans for a daily-life type zine featuring everyone's favourite shark (titled Knick Knack), but I won't have time to draw new art. Enter 2shark2furious, a compilation of all my Kurona artwork I've done. Recently, I've thought about compiling all my sonadow reaper au drawings and felt creations into a zine, so I thought, why not do that Kurona's birthday?
I think it's a shame, and honestly kind of rude to myself, that I see the art I spend time and love on as 'old art (that shouldn't be seen)'. No one's ever said that obviously, but that's kind of the feeling I unfortunately had towards it, unconsciously. (That plus me calming down from my Blue Lock interest, but that's a different thing). I think all creations that I made with my own hands should be celebrated, even if I may not think it's very good anymore or whatever else. Also, a lot of people do this anyway!!
I've drawn A LOT of art for Blue Lock, so I don't know how many pages it'll end up being. It's Kurona-centric, so hopefully it's not too large...? I say this, but 90% of what I drew was Kurona, so we'll see.
I've already started formatting it and honestly, it might end up being humongous. I'm considering splitting it into two zines (shark and furious, 2shark2furious) but we'll see. (I have no actually seen these movies, I will.)
Till death do us part
A collection of all the sonadow reaper au doodles I've done. Includes doodles and other illustrations. I don't have a deadline for this because I draw this whenever I feel like it.
ri's Felt Atelier
A collection of every felt I've made. Turns out I've actually made a lot (like 50 or something?) so it might even span over two zines depending on how in-depth I'll explain with each felt.
Fandom related projects
The World Tree
I definitely can't show much of this one but my contributor spotlight's been up for a few months so I can at least mention it! This is for the fantasy themed World Trigger zine.
What am I drawing? Yes. How am I going? Yes. I can tell you I reached 100 layers the other day so that's cool.
Sonic Supernova
Another fandom related one I can't talk or show much of. There's some fun stuff happening I promise.
Other projects
Studio Lavacado
That's my game teammm. We have some exciting stuff in the works and we're working real hard to get it out so look forward to it!!
Secret thing with no name
This one's still in the works though I've spent a lot of time procrastinating from other things to write down possible logistics for this. It'll be my second attempt at trying to host something like this (with this exact premise) but I have a friend helping me out so I'm sure I can do it this time. It's something I've always wanted to do, and I do hope people join me for it. I'm mostly excited about the spreadsheets I'll be able to do hehe.
