Glad you're here.
I am a Ph.D. linguist specializing in multimodal language, that is, visual modes of language, gesture, speech, facial expressions, and non-verbal expression of emotion. My research projects have involved experiments in the lab, multimodal data annotation, and speech analysis.
In my non-academic career as a language specialist and AI project manager, I partner with top AI industry players to create and annotate AI training data to develop voice, text, and multimodal AI interfaces. My expertise includes managing linguists, translators and crowd workers in NLP/NLU annotation, multilingual translation, and (multimodal) machine translation evaluation.
Check out my CV and publications, and contact me for any comments or if you're interested in collaboration!
