Dr. Alhowaide focuses on machine learning, data mining, and their applications, emphasizing their pivotal roles in developing intelligent systems to bolster decision-making processes. Additionally, he explores interdisciplinary areas such as data dimensionality reduction, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), and software engineering enhancement.
He served as a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland, the Department of Information Technology at King Faisal University, and the Department of Computer Science at Jordan University of Science and Technology.
His academic journey includes the attainment of a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, in 2021. Prior to this, he earned an M.S. in Computer Science from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2012 and a B.S. in Information Technology from Yarmouk University in 2008. He has received multiple awards in recognition of his consistent excellence in academia, research, and professional endeavors across all academic degrees and professional experiences.
